What can we do?

Going to start another fiscal year 2017-2018 and starting with some new officers, which is good and can be changeling. It is very frustrating each trustees meeting every Monday, are we making the right decisions. The big question we need to ask each week is why do members keep paying thru dues each year and don't come into the lodge, don't have anything to do with the lodge, why continue to pay dues and not support the lodge in any way. We have to pay 1/2 of those dues to the Grand Aerie twice a year, we are not getting anything out of them being a member only because they are not getting anything out of being a member. You need to question the why. I might be not the usual I joined to get involved, once I learned more and more about what the Eagles do the more I wanted to belong and make a difference, otherwise I could use my dues money elsewhere in my life. I hope this blog gets read and maybe some comments can be added so that it can make more sense. If you do nothing else belong to the Eagles to at least make new friends and enjoy the events that we have.
